This is my first time in Spokane and so far the weather is amazing.  The riverfront is nice and the hotel we are in is … well nevermind on that.  But the company is great!  This is the final MasterMind meeting this year (but fear not…we have the Summit in November) and we had a special early session for our repeaters.  As Paul walked them through the latest enhancements, the smiles were ear-to-ear! Forgive me for blogging about our product, but I have to.

These people are getting more than just a sneak peek—they’re receiving early access to the power that OPIE is unleashing in O&P practices. Consensus is that the time savings alone in what we have provided will more than cover a typical office manager FTE, giving front office teams and clinicians precious hours back in their days. But it’s more than just a new interface. The modernized OPIE system is leapfrogging all current O&P technology, setting a new standard for customized, user-driven workflow. The ability to configure nearly any aspect of OPIE to match their workstyle and evolving needs is unprecedented.  We’ve built in company-level controls, empowering leadership to decide who does what and in what order. The task system that many have come to love is amplified and conjoined.  If you run your company with the WIP, you will be blown away with new, configurable WIP fields and personalized, customizable views.

This isn’t just software; it's the culmination of twenty-five years of learning the intricacies and unique challenges of delivering and getting paid for O&P patient care. Our experience in Lean Six Sigma, leadership training, and process optimization means nobody else can match the depth and flexibility we offer. These practices are at the forefront of putting these benefits into action. And they are giddy. And it is just beginning.

The ability to instantly access patient information from anywhere in the system, instantly track fabrication jobs in progress, and leverage care extenders are now entrenched as cornerstones of the OPIE user experience. Our commitment to O&P is reflected in the robust resident tracking, training and reporting tools. Our rich data collection helps find efficiencies, improve patient outcomes, and foster better communications with both referral sources and patients. And now, with AI-driven enhancements entering the mix OPIE user clinics are not just keeping up—they’re leading the way in shaping the future of patient care.

Mic drop.

Nah…I’ll keep going. The power of OPIE is limited not by software constraints and the old way of doing things.  The only limitation is your creativity and imagination.  You have a better way? Cool…You can memorialize it in YOUR system and you can even require the flow if that is what you think is best for your practice. You can make it so that every branch follows the same process.  Or you can allow each branch to have its own process.  Or you can go hybrid…Maybe there are core aspects that corporately you want to collect or perform, but you want your branches to have flexibility over when in their process the collect or do those things, you can do that too! Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg.  There is unbelievable depth and breadth to OPIE.

Make plans to bring your team to the Summit in downtown Jacksonville this November and prepare to be amazed.  I know that there are several practices that are shutting down and bringing their entire staff to this meeting.  We will have expert-led tracks for clinicians, billers, admins and operations people.  Don’t get left behind! Your practice and peace of mind will be the better for it. Register now!
